(re)mediations

(re)mediations featured artists working across a variety of media, including photography, printmaking, painting, and digital art. Many of the works explore strategies for mediation between one’s personal memories and larger narratives of identity and history. Select works also examine how various forms of representation can shape our understanding of the present or remediate representations of the past.
